The Destination
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Originally a fishing village, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is a seaside town with an ideal location, much sought after for its calm air.

The Cap, situated to the far south, has given its name to the whole Peninsula, which shelters on one side the harbour of Villefranche and, on the other, the Baie des Fourmis of Beaulieu. For those interested in villas, museums and gardens, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, like the rest of the region, has plenty to offer, often in the most enchanting surroundings.

Also worth visiting: the village of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, the port, St. Hospice’s Chapel, dating to the 18th Century, the Black Virgin.

The road, lined with luxurious properties, runs along the peninsula for 14 km between sea and pine forest. There are paths that allow you to walk around the Cap (between 1h30 and 2h walk) or to reach Beaulieu-sur-Mer from the village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (about 1/2 hour).
