An old fishing village, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is a seaside and winter resort ideally located and much sought after for its serenity. The Cape, at the southernmost point, gives its name to the whole peninsula which shelters on one side the Rade of Villefranche on one side, and on the other, the Baie des Fourmis towards Beaulieu.
In Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat as in the region, amateurs can discover villas, museums and gardens, often draped in noble history. Also worth seeing: the village, the port, the 18th century Chapelle Sainte-Hospice and the Vierge Noire.
